Our Coaches
Will Skeggs
Coach Will is a very popular coach with both kids and adults alike. He is regarded for his quality coaching and his fun and passionate attitude both on and off the court. Coach Will trained in the UK and has been coaching for 19 years in both the UK and Australia. He is currently a Coach Development Coordinator with Tennis Australia, assisting the training of the next generation of Australian coaches. He is determined to impart his knowledge of the game and is passionate about involving all ages in this lifetime sport.
Coach Will is a firm advocate of following the Tennis Australia Hotshots Pathway as he has seen the benefits over that last 14 years of coaching in Sydney. His lessons are centred around perfecting technique and footwork as well as teaching his students how to play in a competitive environment.
Off the court Will enjoys spending time on the golf course, playing guitar and training in the gym.
Tal
Tal brings a wealth of international tennis experience to the court. After growing up and starting his tennis journey in Sydney, he advanced his training at the prestigious Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, where he spent three years honing both his technical and tactical expertise under world-class coaching. After graduating, he went on to compete at the collegiate level in the United States before playing in Germany’s Oberliga. With years of coaching experience and a rich international playing background, Tal is passionate about helping players of all ages and abilities improve their game, combining technical expertise with a lifelong love of tennis.
Xavier
Xavier, a former NCAA Division 1 college athlete with years of coaching experience, brings extensive knowledge and passion for the game. Combining years of international competitive experience with a deep understanding of tennis, he brings high level insight and thrives on helping players take their game to the next level.
Jose
Jose grew up in Chile and is passionate about helping players of all ages reach their full potential. Known for his innovative coaching methods and technical precision, he combines modern training techniques with a deep understanding of the game to deliver exceptional player development and lasting results. He is a firm believer in a holistic approach and advocates players to practice their skills outside of lessons.
Joe
A highly dedicated Filipino tennis coach committed to guiding players of all ages to reach their full potential. Blending modern, innovative coaching methods with a strong focus on technical development, he brings out the best in every player. Passionate about working with juniors, he takes pride in igniting their enthusiasm for tennis and nurturing a genuine love for the sport.
Mark Norris
Mark is a club professional tennis coach with over 40 years experience. He has played in satellite events and tournaments throughout Australia. He held the
position of Head Coach in Noumea New Caledonia with Club Med.
Mark served as the Association Coach for TCNSW and has worked at several tennis centres in the Eastern & Northern Suburbs of Sydney. This included working at White City Tennis Club and achieving his coaching qualification with Bill & Lesley Bowrey.
Mark has coached at all levels from beginners to advanced players on the satellite tour. Mark believes that the fundamental principle of coaching is listening to his clients and responding patiently to their needs. He is dedicated to his clients so that they improve as tennis players and achieve their goals.
